As to how the firmware that runs these LED flashlights is stored and if it is permanant. Meaning if i pick up my spare quark RGB in 20 years, will it still work the same as it did when it was made?

my guess is that it is stored on a ROM chip that will last, well, as long as the light remains functional. should work the same as when it was made. nothing to expire or die unless due to abuse and neglect.
