What do you get when you buy Surefire over Fenix, Streamlight, Inova, etc?

Pricing differences between a Surefire flashlight and some of the competitors mentioned above can be rather extreme. I've been a SF fan for a very long time, but just recently picked up a Fenix flashlight and was amazed at how good the light was for a $26 "AA" LED light. I also got an Inova that runs off of a "AAA" that is no slouch either.

So other than buying American, which is important to me, what is the draw that Surefire has to offer over these other, much cheaper lights?

customer service and great warranty. The selector ring on a U2 ultra I have went bad, sent it to Surefire and 2 weeks later it came back with a new head instead of repairing it and they shipped it back with batteries installed. (I shipped it empty)
