I can't remember who asked about this but here is some shots of some of the Surefire lamps.

Also I just got my meter and took these reading all at 4 feet.

P91 980
P90 600
P61 490
P60 400

Uhh, thanks.

Uhh..thats in LUX? Candles/ft2, lux/meter2, watts per square centimeter... millilamps?

Is there an angle? 10degrees?

Is there a way to measure sidelight? Telephony's E2 shot in his living room told me a lot about sidelight. I need a broader beam...so I can ride my bike. Just today I accidently stayed out too late and had to ride my emergency light home. javascript: x()

I used a GE Foot Candle meter type 217. I held the lights 4 feet from the meter. It is very true that just those numbers don't give you the big picture. They are just the brightest part of the beam.
