LIPO amperage output

So I've been shopping for a 4s 14.8v LIPO battery for a HID conversion. The large capacity LIPO's are capable of huge amperage output. Some around 200-300 in bursts. The hid bulb and ballast I have draw around 10 amps on start up. Is this way overkill? Will there be benefits to this. e.g. 4s 8000mah 30c can burst up to 240 amps. Thanks

Such high current batteries don't sag much under load.
High current capability means small internal resistance (if they had a high internal resistance the batteries would overheat at high currents, P=R*I^2) and thus little voltage drop.
