Problem with TK21, won't stay on with CR123's

Hello, been lurking for a while, finally had a good reason to start a thread....

So for over a year now I've only been using 18650's in my TK21. Then couple
weeks ago I tried a couple CR123's only to find out that it wouldn't stay on
with those batteries.
It clicks and the light does come on, but as soon as I let go of the power
button, it just shuts off. I have to hold it down for it to stay on.

Any tips on what I could do? Or am I stuck using 18650's only?

Thanks.

Sounds like a cell length issue. You can check this by listening for battery rattle. If that's the case, sometimes CAREFULLY stretching the springs helps.

I think Jash is right, had the same problem with the Fenix pd30 if you screw of the click-switch you see the spring and behind it you will see a ring with 2 small dents get a small nose pliers and screw it open till it feels like its stuck.
then you reassemble your flash-light, hopefully that works for you.

That worked. You guys are awesome.
Even though it still worked it's just been bugging me.

Thanks!
