CREE XML T6 LED / IR

Hello first post and in need of help/advice,

I have a 1800 Lumens Cree xml T6 rechargeable Headlamp that runs off 2 18650 batterys have link if anyone need to view the auction item ?
I am wondering what would it take to make this into a IR ............?

Doubt it's even close to 1800 lumens with a xm-l.
To mod it for ir, you probably need to change both the led and the driver. A driver that "magically" can make a xm-l t6 reach 1800 lumens on 2x18650...:shakehead will prob fry the smaller ir leds in seconds.
