Another KL3 mod (lux-rc inside) __Beamshots added__

Hey,

I just finish another mod after few months.

The head is a mint Surefire KL3 ribbed old gen.

Light engine is a Lux-RC 3up lastest 334 with 3 XP-G2 5000k à 15W@1600 lumens, 3 modes H-M-L (same module as Oveready triple drop-in).

Custom Copper heat sink & teflon copper wire.

UCL glass and OD green o-ring (will order soon a black cren bezel from oveready)

Are the lux rc drivers programable? They are pretty cool, is like to know how to configure them.

You can order custom models, there is few parameters that can be change, but nothing can be done by the End user.
ask directly Serge on his website on how deep this module can be programmed.

hey,

I finally had the time to take a outdoor beamshot!

First is a Surefire C2 1x Sanyo UR16650ZT 2000mah from KeepPower driving a M61 219 (nichia hicri 4500k) around 200 lumens OTF



Second is the KL3 ribbed with lux-rc 334 module with 3x XP-G2 R5 neutral 5000k driven by 2 IMR 18500 1100mah around 1300 lumens OTF

Im truly impressed by this light, the output is crazy (16watts), i was expecting more flood to be honest, but it actually throw well, with a huge side spill thats crazy bright.

i do love the capability to switch between the 3 modes.

Thank you for the interest, I may consider to offer this type of service, based on small runs.

But nothing can be considered before late September.

I will surely let know the persons that showed an interest in this mod!
