Hey, my name is Allen and I'm a Flashaholic.

This week, I slummed and bought an el-cheapo AAA "GreatLite" from the local automotive parts store while there for legitimate reasons.

Hello...my name is Ken and I`m a flashaholic. My addiction started around ten years of age hiding in the closet...shining my light. Through the years it grew worse...I lost my job...interfered with my light play time...then my wife said it was either the lights or her...I do miss her sometimes...So anybody got a new light? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Flashaholic\'s Anonymous

Hello, my name is Craig and I am a flashaholic.
I recently bought an Arc-AAA-RGB for no good reason at all except to put on my flashaholic's website. And I recently bought an Arc-AA because nobody else in this area has one. And I got my hands on some of those Garrity Fun-Tasticks even though there's no Wall-Mart in this area. And I traded one of my green laser pointers for an argon ion laser - only a flashaholic would do something like that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Like zorba might say in his signature line...
"Is 300+ flashlights enough or should I get some more? When does it stop???????"

Re: Flashaholic\'s Anonymous

Hi, umm my name is Neko and I'm a .. I'm a flashaholic. I, I don't know if I should be here, but, ummm.
Well.. about 2 months ago, I happened to come across these LED lights. They were nice, I couldn't help looking.
I didn't buy it then, but went home and did a google search. Then I found some better lights from ARC...

Umm, I, I'm boring you. I think I should go home now..
.. .. OK, thanks, well.. if you say so. Well, one thing led to another.. and another..and another and I've ended up with all these Arcs. And what's bothering me is that I now have two Surfires too.
Is, is something wrong with me!? I, I know I've found the right place here at CPF. Can you help me. HELP ME!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Re: Flashaholic\'s Anonymous

Hello, my name is Ed, and I'm a flashaholic. At least that's what my friends tell me. So I have over 80 flashlights and counting....so what! I don't have a problem. I can quit buying and using flashlights whenever I want to. The problem is I don't want to. Do you?

Re: Flashaholic\'s Anonymous

The 12 Steps of Flashaholics Anonymous - with apologies to AA -

1.) We admitted we were powerless over flashahol -- that
our lives had become unmanageable. Although much
better illuminated.

2.) Came to believe that an ARC greater than the last one
could restore us to sanity.

3.) Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to
our friends at CPF.

4.) Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our
flashlights. And then bought more of them.

5.) Admitted to CPF the exact nature of our wron... er,
hobbies.

6.) Were entirely ready to have our higher power remove
all these defects of character. Just don't touch our
flashlights.

7) Humbly asked Sasha to fix the domain problem.

8.) Made a list of all persons we had stunned with our
lights, and became willing to aim them in a different
direction next time.

9.) Made direct amends to such people wherever possible,
except when to do so would require giving up...
well, you know.

10.) Continued to take inventory of our flashlights and
promptly admitted it. Except to our spouses.

11.) Sought through Google and Ebay to improve our contact
with vendors.

12.) Having had our path illuminated as a result of
these steps, we try to carry this message to
flashaholics everywhere.
