QVC\'s Owl Credit Card Light ?

Last night, QVC featured an interested LED light incorporated into a piece of plastic about the size of a credit card -- it also had a magnifying glass feature.

They called it the OWL LIGHT.

The price was 2 of these OWL Lights for just under $19 plus s&h.

I was thinking of ordering a few of them as "stocking stuffers" for some senior family and friends.

Does anyone have the OWL Light, and what do you think of it?

Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have one of those Ian Sinclair credit card lights, and its possibley the worst piece of electronics ive ever owned. Its switch is stiff enough to make it uncomfortable to use for more than a few seconds (momentary only switch), and yet not firm enough to prevent accidental activation.
Oh, and its too thick to carry about in your wallet.

I say go for countycomm's $1.00 lights. As far as i'm concerned, any single 5mm LED will be ABOUT the same brightness if they are driven the same. If they are for stocking stuffers, i would go with the cheapest possible.
