I just got home from shopping at our local (and very crowded) mega-mall.
While I was there, I was waiting outside a clothing store while my wife was inside shopping. While waiting, I noticed a guy with what appeared to be some type of Surefire clipped to his pocket.
I asked this guy what type of flashlight he was carrying, and he showed me his new Surefire C2. I have never seen a C2 in person -- it is quite a nice flashlight.
I told him I just ordered the E2 from Surefire website's holiday sale, and that was going to be my new carry flashlight.
We talked flashlights for a while, until my wife finished her shopping. This guy never heard of ARC lights nor CPF, and I think he will likely check ARC and CPF out next time he goes online.
Pretty cool -- I made a new friend of a complete stranger because of our common interest in quality flashlights. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
