no need to even think about a
- 3*AAA (= crap setup) and
- Luxeon (?) led driven
- 5 (or more) years old light
.. that is stone age in led light times
;-)

This thread has hundreds of views, and not a single identification appears to have been made. Perhaps you could help us understand why you need to identify the light; that way, even if we can't identify it, we might still be able to point you in the direction of some useful information. (For example, if you own the light and simply need to identify it to buy a replacement, we may be able to recommend you another light that would fit your needs.)

looks like a light that needs to be replaced with a better, next-generation flashlight! :) hehe

whats the actual 1 * AA light to recommend?
(I lost keeping track in 1*AA from the time I got my Quark AA mini)

--> whatever the recommendation is, there is nothing the 3*AAA is better in
(size, output, runtime, number of cells to change / bring along, ruggedness, ...)

It appears to be a knockoff of a Dorcy product. Not an exact duplicate, just an imitation. I have to agree with roadkill1109 though...if you have any choice in the matter, replace it with something that offers better performance. If not, then just make sure you use NiMh cells, and not alkaline.
