Hope i don't get spanked now! lol
Been searching the forums and google for long now, but can't seem to find what i'm looking for, soooo here i am!

Also been a while since i was into diy lights... so my old study is kinda outdated now :p

Anyways, i got this:
http://dx.com/p/t6-3-led-lamp-cap-9-22v-100483

For mye diy scuba light.. But i would like something abit stronger, and with more narrow beem.

Btw will this reflector fit on this module maybe :?

Back to main question, i would like a module preaty much ready to run, but no problem if i have to solder something myself.
And it really can't be to much bigger than the one on the link above.

How to hear from you.
great forum and mods!

Thanks

http://dx.com/p/6-cree-q5-wb-5-mode...drop-in-led-module-52-7mm-42mm-8-4v-max-65153

switch cree Q5 with cree XP-G2 , forget reflectors

in that case more reflector in cluster mean narrower and longer parabola which gives narrow beam

XML is to big emmiter and make flood beam

Ehmmm, okey ?
use the same driver and switch leds only ? That one says 8.4v max, and i wanna go with 12v..

Forget to mention that i also would like it to be one mode only, as my canister has a on/of switch only.

Thanks

driver and led should be replaced (actually you need PCB and reflector only )

driver http://www.taskled.com/hboost.shtml or http://pcb-components.de/index.php?...category_id=7&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=64

you have to rise up tension for leds in series ( 6*3,5V = 21V @ 1A-1,5Amax ) and provide good cooling (means costum heatsink )

what you get ..... something like http://light-for-me.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=142&Itemid=446&lang=en ( they have lens not reflector , lens farther apart and

that's why your beam should be more intensive (homogeneous) .
