Aleph2 Tri-XPE

- Carlo 20mm triple optics
- Cree triple XPE-2 R3 20mm round pcb
- Copper custom made heatsink
- Constant current BadBoy500 driver
- Cree XR-can

LEDs are wired in series in other words each XP-E gets 500mA.
Runs best on 2x CR123 or 2x R123 cells.

Enjoy! :)

That looks great, I always wanted an A2 and thought I'd see more of these when the 20mm Carlco Triples started.

Do the XP-E throw any better out of that optic than the XP-G?

And I always forget about the Badboy drivers boost, Assuming a body with room, could it run off 2 RCR123?

Yes, XR-E's throw better than XP-G's. That's why I prefer XP-E's for these mods.
This setup runs best off two RCR123 (see first post).

That looks really sweet! :eek:oo:
Not sure that I've seen an HA Aleph 2 before and the titanium bezel finishes it off nicely.

... a TB A2 Ti ? .... sorry Daniel, but I don't believe it until you post a picture here. :lolsign:

Its the light at the bottom of the picture below:-

I could swap the 2 X CR123 body that the Aleph1 head is on and use your triple XPE-2 L.E ;)

Thanks, but I'm sure that I'm far more jealous of your amazing skills Freddy. :mecry:

Its one thing being able to appreciate and purchase beautiful pieces of art and its very nice, but being able to do the work for myself would still be infinitely more satisfying. :)

That's a beautiful light and picture. I like the Origami. :)
Freddy's set-up would go well in both our lights. ;)

Daniel, you have an elegant collection of TI Aleph Flashlights !

Unfortunately that's the only Ti A2 i have with a cr123 body. Just love the croc design. Wish i could have a 2x 123/18650 body to go with this mod. :ohgeez:
