I have the titanium D25C clicky and it recently started to whine a bit in medium mode, it didn't used to do this. I contacted Eagletac and they said that this is normal but I may exchange it for a replacement if I wish.

If the next one is going to do the same thing then I won't bother but if this isn't normal I'd like to get it replaced. Does anyone else's whine?

I have several D25As and D25Cs in both aluminum and titanium and none of mine whine or hum as far as I can tell. I tend to run 14500/16340s most of the time and that may make a difference but I've tried a variety of other primaries and rechargeables and don't recall any noise there either.

My brother and I have 6 D25C clicky's. 1ea 2012 Ti XML, 1ea 2012 black XML, 2ea 2013 Ti xml2, and 2ea 2013 Ti XPG2's. The 2012's we've had over a year. The 2013's for about a month. I've never heard any type whine from any of them in any mode level.

My D25C Ti does it, too. But you have to hold it right next to your ear to hear it.
