Olight S20 18650. Battery Help

Not long ago I bought two Olights off ebay, a S15 and a S20. According to Olight the S20 can either take 2xCR123 or 18650 lithium ion battery. Now my question here is will it take or accept a 3400mAh 18650 battery and will it fit.

I thought because the S20 being a slightly smaller torch in terms of width or diameter the 18650 3400 mAh might not fit.

Thanks

Eagletac 3400 18650 fits my S20 L2 with no problem. Orbtronic 3400 will fit in the light but is a bit long. I can screw the tail cap on with the Orbtronic , but the tension on the tail cap spring is a bit much for my comfort level.

Thanks Charles I've got two 18650 KeepPowers so might just try those, still waiting for both my Olights to arrive, probably next week I hope. I bought them both off the same ebay dealer so hopefully both will be arriving at the same time. By the way how do you find the S20.

I use the KeepPower 3400s in my olight. They fit great. You should have no problems with them.

Albinoni, I like the S20-L2 very much. So small for a light that can take an 18650. Less bulky in a pocket than a ZL SC600 for sure. The Orbtronics fit, btw -- I just don't like to depress the tail cap spring that much. The light has a good combination of flood and throw (as long as you're not looking for a true thrower, that is), and more lumens than advertised according to Selfbuilt. Mine has a pretty good tint, can't detect any green in it. You do have to lock it out if you carry it in a pocket, otherwise it has a tendency to turn on. I also wish the moonlight mode were lower. Magnet is quite handy, I tend to have it hanging over my desk for additional light.

I too have an Xstar VP1 -- nice charger.

I have both the old S20 and the new S20-L2, and i run them both on XTAR 3400 mAh 18650 batteries. The S20-L2 battery tube is tight, and i can insert a XTAR 3400 mAh battery in it, but it´s barely. It´s with a very small marginal possible to use 3400 mAh batteries in it.

For comparison, i´ve inserted a XTAR 3100 mAh battery, and since it has a smaller diameter, it was inserted much more smoothly in to both S20´s.

What charger are you using for yours hoop, Im using XTAR VP1

Nitecore intellicharger 4. Been using that for about a month or so. I like it because I also have several pair of NiMH. Seems to fit all my needs well. Haven't tried the Xtar but I've been reading a lot of good things about it here.

Soo...the Olight S20 L2 will be my first decent light.
The 3400mAh 18650 by Olight with button top should be a perfect fit then?
