Hi, for some reason the Energizer batteries have leaked inside my Fenix LD20. Leaving this horrid white stuff inside which isn't easily removed.

I tried cleaning it off with a baking soda solution but that didn't really help.

Any idea what I should do. I have checked the light and it's still functioning with new batteries and it's plenty bright enough for my needs so don't feel like getting a new one.

It seems that the eneloops XX I've got to replace the energizers are ever so slightly thicker so the white surface rubs a too tightly for my liking (especially given they are rechargeable, I want to be using these for some while).

Any advice on how to remove this white junk or at least leave the inside of the tube smooth would be helpful.

This guy found that he had to physically scrape the residue out. If you use something stiff and plastic, you are unlikely to damage the tube. Be careful with the spring at the head of the tube!
