Hi Everyone,
I did some comparison beam shots. This is between my Prometheus Alpha Blue-Label ICE v3 with MCE18-B Cree 6500K 600 Lumen and my PK FL2 LE with Cree XML 6500K.
I will state that this is not a scientific testing far from it. No Integrating Sphere (luminous flux measurement for LEDs and lamps).
I mounted both lights on a tripod and the pictures were shot with my Canon Rebel EOS T3.
The pictures were shot at 50 and 100 feet. I have tried to keep the shots segregated and grouped as to compare the two lights. I apologize in advance if there are discrepancies which you may find. :sick2:
I have to say the PK FL2 LE has an outstanding throw and nice side spill IMHO. The Alpha Blue- Label ICE v3 has similar charastics, but with that said I think the brightness of the PK FL2 LE edges it out slightly.
So in conclusion I believe that the PK FL2 LE is a top notch light and I like it very much.
