Why can't a Zerbalight H51 use rechargable li-ion batteries?

I've been doing a lot of reading and in one of the reviews here, it says the Zebralight SC51 can use li-ions. It later states that the SC51 and the H51 use the same circuit. So why is it that everything I read says the H51 does not support li-ions? Did a bunch of searches, but found nothing.

A lot of folks run 14500s in lights that are not designed for them and/or the manufacturer says will not support them.... sometimes they fry, sometimes not, sometimes it takes a while... but the risk is entirely on the user. If the manufacturer says the the light will support Li-ions, and it fries, then the manufacturer is liable for warranty repair (if still w/in a yr in ZLs case).
