My wife bought me a MasterVision G3 Cap Light (The Original – 308G3W) http://n-ritusa.com/html/products/caplights/g3caplight several years back and it was quite handy for my purposes around the home and farm. The clips eventually broke on it and I started looking for a suitable replacement and found very little to choose from in a rechargeable cap light. I did buy a Streamlight ClipMate USB light http://www.streamlight.com/en-us/product/product.html?pid=298 and it works pretty well. I would like to get a brighter cap light, however, and it looks like I might have to modify something. Would the Nitecore HC90 http://www.nitecore.com/productDetail.aspx?id=99#.VAxyQGP42UM be a suitable choice for a headlamp that could be converted to a recharge cap light? If so, where would I start? Could a metal clip of some sort simply be attached to the light?

I am sitting here looking at my hc90 and I don't think it could be SIMPLY clipped on. There is not much clearance between the battery tube and the contoured plastic that rests against the head. It is possible however
