I was out looking today for a 6P to make a 18650 P60 host. I noticed a USA model at Bob Wards in Bozeman, MT. I couldn't find the 6P-BK version anywhere. I'm not sure I want to bore the USA model out. It just doesn't seem right to do. Anyone collecting these? Are they very hard to come by?

Yep. The 6P-USA model with the red tailcap, silver body, and blue head.

I'd suggest you leave it in the packaging and sell or trade it to a collector so that you can get exactly what you want. You'll have no trouble finding a taker on the Marketplace (cpfmarketplace.com) willing to get you set up with a Surefire that's already been bored. It's definitely worth more than what you paid for it.
