They look really good. Unfortunately no black left without car name engraving. 3P can definitely be the way to go.
They would probably work fine but I think the Surefire parts deserve something more fancy.
I would like to have one but seems impossible to find.In the highly unlikely event you find an 18650 C-C Leef body for a low price, that would be another option.
I have 6P's for sale. The entire light. But since you don't need an entire light I would just scan ebay and other places on occasion for a 6P body. Sometimes on the clones the threads and machining is questionable, so keep that in mind of you buy something like a Solarforce clone.Found this old parts from a Surefire 6P. Any suggestions what do do with them? Maybe a body for 18650 or 18350? Any suggestions for body?
He'd be running the risk of getting an early example that isn't bored out to take an 18650 cell.A real 6P or 9P body is your best bet.
I agree. I will try to find a 6P but they are not so easy to find.A real 6P or 9P body is your best bet.
Then I will machine it to fit 18650. I don't know how people normally do to make the inner diameter bigger? I have a lathe I can use to machine it to diameter 18,8 mmHe'd be running the risk of getting an early example that isn't bored out to take an 18650 cell.
Look on Ebay. I lucked out years ago and picked a new one up for 34$ or so.I agree. I will try to find a 6P but they are not so easy to find.
