Which kind of headlamp is needed by most users?

There are two many different headlamps on Amazon, Ebay and other platform, so it is maybe a little difficult for us to choose when purchase.
So I want to know which kind of headlamp will you choose when you buy one.

Want to know the suggestions of you guys.

What do you expect to be using a headllamp for?

(ie what environment, how regularly, for what length of time, doing what)
How reliable do you need it to be?

While people have widely varying requirements for headlamps, if I had to give any advice it would be to think of reliability first. If someone was doing anything where a lamp failure would be extremely annoying or even dangerous, if they were on a limited budget I'd advise them to go for a well-known and generally-respected brand even if it meant getting less light for a given price.

The question "How much is it worth to not have a light failure on a given use?" has hugely different answers depending on the person and the use.
