Custom XHP70 C8, $40 shipped

Custom C8 with an XHP70 star on arctic silver thermal paste, using two 18350 IMR. Direct drive pulls around 3.5A at turn on from the included batteries. Slight donut beam pattern, otherwise even. Internal build quality is a somewhat rough since this is a generic chinese host. External finish still in very good condition. Glass lens.

I do not know run time or how hot it gets for continuous run. It does get hot after any sustained use. It is 100% working but I am selling it as-is for burst and reference use. Use at your own risk.

Beam shot was taken around sunset for reference.

I calculated/estimated ~2500 raw lumens, based on cool led bin and current pulled from batteries. I do not have any equipment for optical measurements.

So no, the C8 style lights have a screw in type of pill.

The sst90 is a p60 module that requires a surefire 6p or solarforce/generic equivalent host.

Of course if you already have a suitable host i can ship the module at the same time.
