I have a question about the A2 switch. If you've rotated the tailcap to the constant on position for the LEDs is it possible to operate the bulb by depressing the momentary switch? John

There are a few positions possible with the A2 tailcap:

-Full Lock out
-Depress tail switch for LED only (no matter how hard you press, mainlamp locked out)
-Depress lightly for LEDs, then press harder for Main Lamp
-LEDs on constant, depress for mainlamp
-Mainlamp constant on.

Thanks for the info, that's exactly what I wanted to find out. I wanted to use it for walking at night but be able to immediately activate the main lamp if I needed to. John

It's great for night walks. I use it for night hikes up into Cucamonga Wilderness here in San Bernardino Forrest. The LEDs are perfect for lighting the way without blinding, and you have more power instantly when you need it.

Same for me, I made a headband for it, so now it hangs and I got my hands free but enough light to walk (even with the red leds, which saves your nightvision!)
