Hi,

Of all the Surefire lights that I have, they all seem to have that greenish-yellowish coloring in the beam. Maybe its only Surefire or its the way LED lights are by design, I don't know...

Anyways, I want to purchase this Surefire M600 Scout Light. Seems to be great light.

My question is, if anyone out here owns one of these lights, does the beam have that yellowish color to it instead of the cool white color?

M
y M600U has no green. I wish it had some more yellow but it is whitish with some blue. My Surefires all seem to be excessively blue to get max lumens. My Zebralight H602w is the only light I own with a green tint.

It's the Surefire lottery. You might get lucky and get a neutral tint if it's an emitter that varies in tints but you pretty much get what you get.

After that the best you can do is look for one on here and cherry pick the tint or contact some SF dealers on the forums that are flashaholics like us and ask one to help you get one that fits your wants. I've seen dealers on these forums work with people and get them exactly what they want. This community is about the nicest I've ever been a part of.
