Im looking for an effective dome shaped diffuser to remove the harshness of the LED and widen the angle with minimal losses, so I started looking for dome shaped diffusers and I stumbled upon dome shaped Fresnel lenses used for PIR motion sensors which seem to be a good fit.
However I do not know the exact characteristics with regards to light transmittance etc..
So I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using these before or has a broken PIR sensor and is willing to try and get back with the results.
