I recently bought two Princeton Tec, Tec 40's. A black one for my brother and an olive drab one for me to keep in my 4x4.

Now the packaging for the black Tec 40 states waterproof to 500' whereas the olive drab packaging proclaims waterproof to 2000'

What does this mean? It means green is better and more waterproof than black /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice lights for the money IMHO

Hello Hellz,

I think there is a typo. The 2000 is way off.

On the other hand, green is a strong colour...

Hmmm... my "Granite" color is only waterproof to 500 feet as well. You'd think granite would be stronger than that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
