If you have the EB1C head(hi first then press or click again to get low) with the clicky tail there is no reason why it shouldn't work with a 2AA body.
You'll get better runtime and regulation as well.

The head of the EB1T with the two stage tailcap will only come on high with the Malkoff 2AA body, effectively turning it into a single mode light.

The MDC heads are compatible with Surefire E series lights. Malkoff did this on purpose. Take a peek at the Malkoff website. Just be cognizant of your input voltage or else.
The 2-AA EDC head is only rated for about 3volts max input. Malkoff also makes a MDC head that is compatible with the Surefire Scout series with higher input voltages.

Another option is the 2aa body with e1t head, I don't have that combo but it should work. Email gene for any technical questions if you're unsure, he responds quickly
