Help me find a replacement for Google photo postings

With the new Google Photos I can't find a way to post the proper embedded links to pictures on CPF.

Looking for recommendations on the best alternative. Something free, not loaded with ad-ware garbage, it would be nice if there was a sync app like Picassa used to have.

I started trying out Microsoft OneDrive since I have an outlook.com account. So far I like the picture embedding options and the fact that it has a sync app so all I have to do is drop my pictures into a local folder and they sync automagically.

Obviously not Dropbox anymore: Dropbox is ending the Public folder I think you can still share, but not as easily by dropping files in a folder.

I have Flickr but it's just not as user friendly, so I'll probably look for an alternative as well.
