Hi there,
I an in the process of modding a Bardic Light as in this thread: (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?311082-Modding-a-Bardic-Advice-and-Ideas)
I am using an Arduino to control an LED light ring to facilitate changing the colours (red, amber and green), and wondered if there was a suitable circuit to use to drive the CREE XP-L, at 3.25v Vf and I=3A. I can use PWM on the arduino to set brightness. I'm also using an OP reflector from a Convoy C8
With all the room in the case, I'm planning on running some heat pipes for the LED to keep things nice and cool. I am trying to keep the original look and feel of the lamp, so will be keeping the switch as is.
This is my first foray into modding a light, so your guidance is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ross
