I recently moved my g2x pro from edc to nightstand duty. I really don't have a use for the low mode anymore and would prefer it to be high only. Has anyone tried the modification sited in the link above? Are there any other ways to accomplish this without permanently altering the light? From what I could tell the tail switches he recommended in the article are all out of stock. I'm also reluctant to spend $40 on a tail cap for a $50 flashlight so I guess if it comes down to it I will do the mod as described in the article.
