New(?) Garrity keychain light

Picked up what appears to be a new Garrity keychain light today at Canadian Tire today for C$5.99 - about US$4.50 or so. A bit large, comes in two colors, red and green, well-made, feels good in the hand, nice clicky switch (no constant on), 2 x 2016 coin cells, *very* bright. Assembled with 4 tiny screws. [Edit] corrected Garrity spelling in thread title.

Wal mart now carries these. a little thinner than a pack of gum. Bright colors on the plastic. would be a nice gift.

Okay, it's a UV version, and is made by a different company, but certainly looks like the same light. Probably several companies using the same basic shell.

Definitely the same housing. Thanks for the heads-up on the battery changing. I checked, and its overall length, including the swivel, is the same as the Arc AAA, but the Garrity is much brighter. I expect to see this dim fairly quickly, though.

They are very bright. I found one at Walgreens a couple of months ago. The swivel attachment is weak. I snapped mine off the first evening I had it. When I found mine Walgreens had them for $1.99. I think they have been running around 5.99 recently.
