Is the Arc4 second covered by any kind of a warranty? Please say it is covered by the ten year one. That would pretty much seal my decision to buy one over the LSH-S FITD special.

Nope. You get a 15-day return period, and that's it. As a factory second, it's sold as-is. That's why you get a discount.

None of the Arc 2nds ever carried a 10-year warranty. Just the 15-day return option.

FWIW, the 15 day return policy is AMPLE time to figure out if you like it or not... I only needed a week or so to realize that I loved my 4+ Second... I really think I lucked out because it's completely white, extremely bright and has no blemishes! Might draw a little too much current or something but that really doesn't matter to me! I've had it a month and have been using it frequently, EVERY day, and I'm only on the second battery.
