Hello most of us know the do's and dont's of recharging LiON batteries. I must admit I often "push the envelope" by running it while sleeping and while away for a few hours on errands. I bought the 8 bay C8 charger about 9 months ago and it has been in non-stop service ever since. It was the most i have ever spent on a charger, but every day I valued my decision and the amazing performance of this charger. It is constantly running refreshing my 18650, 14500 and rcr 123 batteries.Today when I plugged it in after giving it a rest while out of town I noticed a "flash-a-holic"s worst nightmare: the smell of burnt electronics. I only use top quality cells from CPF supporters. In case anyone wondered how long a c8 charger would last after 24/7 duty, it lasted about 9-10 months. I will probably buy TWO to replace it because that would give each charger 50% less duty time. FWIW I will contact the vendor and attempt to reach Klarus but I think it is out of warranty
