Up for sale is a Nitecore D10 SmartPD that I've modified to remove the original emitter and in its place is a XPL HI 4000k led. The beam is a very pleasing creamy white (to my eye) with little to no artifacts. It has a nice smooth spot to spill character. Emitter is nicely centered and in the few weeks I carried and used the light it always performed as expected/flawlessly. (I also modified another D10 with a 219C and I've decided to hold onto that one). It has some minor exterior blemishes here and there but is a nice example overall. If you're buying it to use you won't be disappointed. In order to get the actuation to work after the modification the piston itself was shortened perhaps 1mm or so, this does not affect functionality in the slightest but I wanted to present it in full disclosure.
