So as indicated in my post yesterday I have not been here in a while.
I thought I was cured. It all started with ARC and we were so happy to drop 200 bucks on a 25 lumen light.
I had all of them and then some Arc's , Gatlights , Spy, Microfire, Surefire,HDS, Lupine, Wiseled and a load of customs.
So now I am thinking of getting another HDS always loved them and lost one in the backcountry.
What model HDS to get or are there better options these days?

Chime on in.

Maybe a brass navy sw45k or a titanium high noon (I can dream, can't I?)
I just got a nlt325 that I'm liking a lot

I have the NLT 325 titanium rotary and love it. It's a great everyday light. Recently picked up the SS40 with the 18650 rotary and the high CRI is nice to have, but still prefer the 325 NLT.

Buy a regulat aluminium one with an emitter of your choice.
Then you can actually use it rather than than worry about it.
