It\'s My Birthday...Winner!!!
and those of you who decided to click on this thread will have a chance to win a gift from me.
I have a TigerLight FBOP (8") that I no longer use. It used to be my work light so it's a little scratched up but was recently checked out by TigerLight and hasn't been used since.
We'll play the 'Guess the Number' game again. The number I have written down is between 1 and 426 , and the first person to guess it in this thread wins. I think I'll go with two guesses a day per person, this time. I picked a larger number range just so the game wouldn't be over in the first hour and everyone would have a chance to play. I'll give a clue tomorrow before the thread gets forgotten.
Edit- Well, a couple close ones, but no winner yet.
The game seems to have slowed down quite a bit so here's a clue-
It's a 3_ _ digit number, and the total equals 4.
For example, 643, 6+4+3=13, 1+3=4
I still won't put 'free' in the heading, because then everyone would know. I'd rather give this to someone who clicked on my Birthday thread not knowing they might win something.
Good Luck!
The TigerLight comes complete with charger, 2 new batteries, several spare UCL lenses, a couple of Flashlightlens' bulbs, and a TL bulb. I've lost track of which generation the TL bulb is.
There are two reasons why I no longer use this light.
The main reason is that the batteries just aren't big enough for use as a mechanics light. I need a light that will last an hour without damaging the battery (NiMH). I have read here not to let a NiMH batter discharge too far or it will be damaged and I tried not to let that happen. Apparently I still managed to ruin the two batteries I had. I sent the light to TL for a checkup to see if there was another problem but they said everything was fine except for the batteries, which they replaced with new ones.
The second reason is that I went back to my trusty MagCharger. I have been using one for the last 19 years, and except for short affairs with a Stinger, Super Stinger, Ultra Stinger, and the TigerLight, I've found nothing better. I've upgraded my Mag with the W/A 01111's and the PowerStream pack from Ginseng and the light rocks! I also have W/A 01160's and Ginseng NiMH pack, but I haven't used that combo yet.
It's a great light and if the batteries weren't so fickle it would have replaced the MagCharger.
Please, no guesses if you're not interested in the light.
So anyway, Happy Birthday (47th) to me (and jtivat and Light Knight) and good luck to you.
