Pila\'s, RC123, and some Flashlights

Especially for Bernhard, who hate rechargeable batteries, I post this picture to prove, if it was necessary, that he is wrong. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

From left to right :
L6 Digital Lumamax with 2x 150's
Hyperlux V with 2x150's
Pila GL2 with 168A
E2e natural HA + Don's PR-917 3w Led with 168S
E2e Black + Don's PR-750 5W Led with 168S
L4 Digital Lumamax with 168S
Scorpion + Stinger bulb with 168S
Arc4+rev2 with JSBurly's RC123
Arc4+rev1 with JSBurly's RC123

In normal condition, I would have to buy 18x123A per hour of use. In France $10x18 = $180 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif
After 3 hours, all other hours are free /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

What do you think of that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

JSBurly's is my money saving man (I don't know if the sentence is right, correct me please /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Now to try and learn why Bernard does not like rechargable batteries.

I bought it due to Jon ( JsBurly's, Thank Jon /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif). But I believe that at the moment he has not it any more. On the other hand he works on a new very promising project, looks at little there : Rc123

They are Lithium RC123, without protection circuit, and for what I know about 650 mAH.
The new ones will be better and protected /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Bernhard, what is it about rechargeable batteries that you don't like? If you like throwing away stuff you might as well stick with incandescant bulbs instead of buying LED lights. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Pila\'s, RC123, and some Flashlights

Well I ahve been running the 168s in my KL4 and I find myself leaving it on all the time now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

As soon as I get some time I will run it through some good runtime tests. I am impressed with these little guys /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh, the darn thing doesn't fit in the A2 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
