Hey Folks,
Has anyone here ever made a custom heatsink for an Arc LS that can hold an MM or BB convertor? I've tried looking at a stock Arc LS board next to a BB500, but I can't figure out how you would machine a heastink such that the MM or BB convertor can fit, but for there to still be enough metal on top for positioning a Luxeon emitter. Unless the metal in between the convertor and LED is paper thin...
Has anyone here done this before and happens to have some measurements, pictures, diagrams, or any general information on how to design a custom heatsink to hold in a convertor from the sandwich shoppe?
There are a few modifications I'd like to make to the heatsink, and then get a small run of them machined for myself and a friend for use in a couple of Arc Rev2 heads, since neither of us have any spare stock Arc Rev2 boards.
