Sold/Expired Can this be modified?

I've been looking into getting this lighter. The LED portion is about an inch long. Is there anyway to modify it so that the output resembles or comes close to that of the ARC or Inova flashlights? The LED light is powered by 2 CR1220 batteries.

IMHO and as a fledgling modder it looks like there's no room for a reflector as the LED is almost flush to the bottom. However, if someone has a lathe, they may be able to machine a new endcap longer to incorporate said lens with electronics even and viola!!
