E2 Lens Replacement

I've EDCed a Surefire E2-GM in my pocket for about a year and a half. (What a great little light!) Recently I've noticed how scratched my lens has gotten. I've tried polishing it but I think I only made it worse. The beam has all kinds of artifacts now.

My question is:
Can you change the lens in an E2?
I'd really like to put some sort of glass in there... but I'd be happy with NEW Lexan.

Or do I have to get a whole new head?
Any other thoughts/ suggestions are welcome...

I don't believe the lens is replaceable, on the E1 or E2.

I use the E1E-HA or E2E-HA bezels on my E1-HA's and E2-HA's. Unfortunately, the satin grey bezel for the E2E, also has a Lexan lens. I have one E2-GM, with the E2E-SG bezel on it (MN02 LA). If I carry it, it's in my shirt pocket, by itself.

I would call Surefire customer service and see what they have to say. You never know.

If that doesn't work, maybe someone here can help with how to polish Lexan?

Yep, I agree with oldgrandpajack (how ya doin' Gramps?). I, too, use the E1e (E2e) bezels on my E1's and E2's. No silly clips that way, and better lens. Neither Gramps nor I care for the clips.
