Found an interesting website selling mil issue LED lights; finger lights, tactical illuminator, military 7 LED sealed lights depth rated to 1000 feet-

If nothing else it's interesting to read and look at-

Haven't really compared the prices with the "commercial" items, but it doesn't seem like they suffer from the mil-spec toilet seat syndrome

I always liked the idea of the finger lights, but I think these are red LED's, and I'm a white-LED kinda guy now, for practical reasons.

I just thought the discussion about hydrogen absorbtion was interesting for the dive lights; my lights don't go pop when I open them.. then again mine aren't rated to 1000 feet!

Can you say, \"Durian\"?
Nice link, wingerr. Those look an awful lot like Pelican P1s, and Tektite/CC Crane lights. I think glowbug has somthing very similar to that finger-worn light too.

Haven't checked yet, but gotta wonder if the 'mil-spec' rating given to these lights means they've got different specs and prices.
