batterystation\'s $10 imported 8led

Has anyone tried the $10 8led AA light from batterystation?

I'm looking for a small, cheap metal loaner light. "Tactical" or technical looks, and as bright or brighter than minim^g. I'm thinking this one would be good but the picture is so tiny.

The 8 LED type lights are a flood beam. Nice close up, but very little throw. I have not tried this particular light, but I have a few other small 8 & 12 LED lights and they all work about the same.

I love this type of light for working on things (like inside computers or under the hood).

They are also good "walk around in the dark" lights as long as you don't need to see too far ahead.

I believe Craig reviewed those on his site. I am rather impressed with the 5 led one that takes a single aa battery.
