Flashlighter
Newly Enlightened
Both are seemingly the same light, yet the reviews at FlashlightReviews.com there does seem to be a slight difference in output. Is this difference significant or does it fall within the tolerance that's normal between different versions of the same models?
I also recently purchased a Surefire G2 and noted it had a higher "throw" rating than the T3. Since I'm giving a lot of tactical flashlights as gifts to women for defensive use (stun, slam and run) in mall parking lots and other dark areas, I can't believe the G2 is initially brighter. I've compared them side by side and can see (or used to, anyway) that the Inova is significantly brighter. It has a lumen rating of 85 compared to the G2's 65. So what measurement would be useful for comparing the "stun" effect of a flashlight at night?
I've recently started collecting flashlights and am amazed that most of these LED tactical lights are primarily available through the Internet. I went into a Target not too long ago and they were still selling the plastic flashlights with the magnets on the sides!
