Just thought I'd share this with the members of this forum, as I haven't seen anything quite like it about.

About 4 months ago, cost me £4.99 (UK pounds Sterling), just thought it was interesting...this is the little menace that got me interested in LEDs as an actual pracitcal light source though, so it was well worth it. Useful little light too.

Body is solid machined aluminium, with a rubber grip that slides over it, held in place by the head/tailpiece. Both of these are sealed with O-rings, and as far as I know the light is waterproof. Hasn't showed any signs of leakage after innumerable dunkings in streams, puddles, my car's window waster bottle (don't ask) and rainstorms. Single white LED (don't know what make/model), running from 3 *tiny* (and damn hard to insert I must add) S7365S (that's the number stamped on them anyway) button cell batteries.

Not having a digital camera, getting beam shots will be near impossible, but I might try. Will weigh it sometime in the near future.

Later,

Zel.
