r123 in L2?

Hi,
Will someone who has tried it tell me if r123x2 will work in SF L2 without ******* up something really bad?

Waiting to hear before I try it.

Depending on the bin of the Luxeon, you can fry it in a sneeze; the same is true of the L4. I don't advice you to run the L2 with 2xR123. I rather suggest you to have the inner tube of the L2 bored to use a Pila 168S.

The 2xR123 is OK with the KL1 (E2L) only.

There are at least two manufacturers making the protected 3V R123s now. However, the discharge rate of these 3V batteries are only up to 1C ( 500mA to 600mA ). They may run fine with the L2.
