What color SL 4AA Lux? Yellow or black?

Hi all,

I'm strongly considering getting one of these popular lights. If you had the choice between yellow and black, which would you choose and why?

The choice has been made... brightguy.com has the yellow 4AA on sale for $28.00. I'm gonna get a couple.

I'd go with yellow, it's easier to find in most cases should you drop it or whatever. .

I got the yellow and don't mind it. I didn't care about the color and it was all brightguy had in stock. It's a very bright yellow, probably fluorescent--it really catches the eye even in broad daylight. And it looks like a hornet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

I like black because I use the light at work where I may get grease and dirt on it.

I like brightly-colored lights because I use them outside and it saves me from losing track of them. I have a yellow G2 for my beater camp light.

The yellow model can be dressed-up by removing the black panels with a cloth wetted with brake cleaner.

I lost mine this morning and looked in the afternoon to see the bright yellow SL hiding under my bed. If the light was black it would have been under that bed for years!
