Rechargeable Mag Flashlight Mod

Hi everyone:0),

Does anyone know of a "Mod" kid I could buy for the rechargeable mag flashlight? My friends Streamlight Ultra Stinger is blowing my poor mag away.

The quick and dirty way to hot rod a M*gcharger is to properly center up a WA01160 bulb in the reflector.

Getting a Five Mega 9AA-3D adapter, modding the charging station for more voltage, and putting in a WA01185 takes it up a couple more notches.

With the new MagCharger bulb and a good battery pack, there is no reason the Ultrastinger is blowing the MC away. My MC is whiter, brighter and outthrows my UltraStinger.

Is there a comparison or review of the Mag Charger and the SL Ultra Stinger?
What are the cost versus gain on the Mag Charger mod?
As my Charger has been my "side arm" for 19 years, it has to be really good before I retire it.
