Yup. Last night I was playing with my 360nm UV Xnova and it was dark and I wanted to grab my RB light. So I used the UV Xnova to see into the bezel of my mags. Well, everyone I picked up had yellow glowing phosphur.. Huh? Where's my RB?

Well, turns out the RB die glows yellow just as it had phosphur on it like a white luxeon!!!!

REALLLLLY Strange!!! (WHY?!)

I wonder now if Green, Cyan, etc do the same thing. I have a cyan I'll try when it's dark.. BTW R/O doesn't glow at all.

Evan, just tried it with my other xnova 395nm. No go. It just looks shiney silver. (even though under a microsope it looks darker)
You might try a blacklight florecent if you have one.

Last night I tries this with my cree UV and some LUX III's, I found that the bule had a bit of blue glow to it and the green appeared to have a bit of a greenish yellow glow. This of course with 1.5W of UV reflecting back at me.

Jeff, I'm thinking the wavelength you are using (395) is too high. We need to work on that trade so you can properly see this phenomenon. :)
