    uh oh.. My light had some saltwater/sand exposure recently and I wanted to proactively clean out the moving parts. It has been my EDC for maybe 3+ years now and I thought was worth the inspection and cleaning. I will call HDS and see how I can get this resolved.

    i wear my hds periodically w/ the nite ize headband. i wear it over a ball cap. the light naturally points higher than your line of sight unless you tilt the band to point downwards, but that is more of a critique of the headband than the light itself. overall the hds fits securely in the...

    Magnetic mount for 1 inch diameter lights?

    i love the idea of this for something more low profile, mounting a magnet flush-ish to the body of the light. Then you could use another magnet and easily/expediently mount a light to the bill of a baseball cap. anyone have any other magnetic mount options?

    HDS blinks if the battery can't support the output of the flashlight and then automatically steps down to the next lower setting.

    yes i bought that already for my 250L and was disappointed by the bulkiness and poor form factor of the design. i like HDS as much as the next guy in these megathreads but the universal clip was a flop. i sold my 250L rotary + clip at a large loss and am carrying my 325L clicky exclusively...
